Aunque no sea tan común encontrarse con pastelerías que vendan pasteles tales como los entendemos aquí (de cumpleaños,…) por las calles berlinesas, esta gran ciudad, llena de variantes, ofrece una gama por lo general muy profesional y con mucha calidad, con su tradicional repostería, muy conocida en todo el país y con razón. Aparte de los típicos Bretzel, muchos sitios ofrecen productos que recuerdan a la pastelería francesa y americana.

We went to one of the oldest café in Berlin, though it is nowadays a chain of cafés that you can find anywhere in the city and that seems more like a Starbucks than like a tasting place as before.
