Hace cosa de unos dos meses, viajamos a Florencia y Pisa, Italia. Como no podía ser de otra forma, hicimos un recorrido por sus pastelerías, y sobre todo, por sus famosísimas “gelaterias”. A continuación, os hablamos de las más destacables a nuestro entender.

About two months ago, we travelled to Florence and Pisa, Italy. We could obviously not go there without go all over its bakeries, pastry shops, and above all, its famous “gelaterias”. Below, we show you the ones we most liked.

Gelateria Vivoli

Considerada la mejor heladería de Florencia, no podíamos irnos sin probar algún helado y, la verdad, también os la recomendamos, pues además de los tradicionales sabores, tienen suculentos helados de arroz y hojaldre.

Además de ser conocida por sus helados, este establecimiento también ofrecer los típicos panettones, así como pastelería tradicional, que pueden degustarse en el mismo local de decoración clásica, donde nos sorprendió la presencia de una cabina telefónica.

Considered the best ice-cream shop in Florence, we could not go without casting one of its ice-creams and, to be honest, we also recommend it. Indeed, besides the traditional flavours we can find anywhere, they also have delicious rice and puff pastry flavoured ice-creams.

Besides being well-known for its ice-creams, this establishment also offers the typical panettones, as well as others traditional pastries, that may be tasted in its classically furnished premises, where we were surprised by the presence of a telephone box.

Don Nino

Con un aire antiguo pero muy elegante, y sin abandonar los clásicos Cannoli, esta pastelería-heladería se basa en lo más innovador, con acabados muy finos.

With an old but elegant look, and without giving up the classical Cannoli, this pastry and ice-cream shop is based on the most innovative things, with high-quality finishing.

Bar Pontevecchio

Situado en el puente famoso de la ciudad, se trata de un buen ejemplo de lo que entienden en Florencia por bares, donde se vende todo tipo de comida, desde descomunales helados de montaña, hasta bocadillos salados, pizzas,… además de ser un restaurante con carta. Lo que se llama un todo en uno.

Located in the most famous bridge of the city, it is a good example of the kind of bars we can find in Florence, where they sell all kinds of foods, from the huge mountain ice-creams, to sandwiches, pizzas,… besides being a restaurant with menu. What we could call an “all in one”.

Migone

Pastelería muy tradicional, con una amplia variedad de bombones, turrones, carquiñolis, peladillas y caramelos.

Traditional pastry shop, with a wide range of filled chocolates, nougat candies, carquiñoli, sugared almonds and sweets.

Florencia: una ciudad repleta de Arte en las calles… y en sus heladerías, además de alguna pastelería artesanal destacable. Sin duda un lugar muy recomendable para visitar y donde disfrutar de todos sus tipos de arte.

Florence: a city full of Art in the streets… and in its ice-cream shops, as well as in a few worthy traditional bakeries. Undoubtedly, a highly recommended place to visit and where you can enjoy all the kinds of arts.
